Beth and her family spend a lot of time in their basement and plan on staying in their home long term. They recently finished part of the basement, thinking their water problems were solved—but the issue continued, leaving them with hefty cleanups using a shop vac.

Because they love hanging out in the space—watching their big TV and enjoying music on their sound system—they want peace of mind before finishing more of the basement.

Problem We Solved / Solution

To permanently solve the problem, our team is installing a full perimeter waterproofing system with our WaterGuard® interior drainage system, directing water into a TripleSafe® sump pump to protect against sump failure.

We’re also adding our ShipShape™ monitoring system, which lets Beth track her waterproofing system remotely and see exactly how it’s performing.

In addition, we detected elevated humidity levels that could harm indoor air quality, promote mold growth, and increase dust mites. To address this, we’re installing a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier, creating a healthier and more comfortable environment for their basement living space.
